Yamaha Offer Buying Sessions

Yamaha recently announced that after the success of last years’ premiere event, they plan to run another series of selection sessions at the world famous Southbank Centre in London as well as a later event at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.

The London dates will take place on 11 and 12 October whilst the Liverpool sessions will take place on 17 and 18 January 2014.

The aim of the sessions is to give those individuals and institutions who are interested in some of the more exclusive upright and grand Yamaha pianos the opportunity of having a private 45 minute session to trial the latest developments and models from Yamaha.

In addition, Yamaha have amassed a collection of leading technicians and piano specialists who will be available to speak to, take questions from and pass on their wisdom to visitors throughout the events.

It is expected that some 40 pianos will be available to see and trial at the events, including the Yamaha CFX Concert Grand and many from the CX range of grand pianos.

As one of the world’s most famous and highly regarded musical instrument manufacturers, Yamaha will also offer a wide variety of their accessories and guides as part of the event, as well as discussing the various methods of upkeep and care for new and used instruments. As many people are aware, one of the most important factors in piano owning is the regularity of piano tuning London which is performed on pianos.

Last year, the weekend events concluded with a Piano Upgrade Initiative which will give visitors the opportunity to discuss part exchange deals on their existing pianos, thus making the cost of shopping much more affordable.

Speaking about the event, Yamaha's Leanne Barrell commented: "These Selection Sessions allow people serious about their pianos and music an exclusive opportunity to play a wide range of Yamaha professional pianos in one place in an intimate and tranquil environment and to discuss their requirements with some of the UK's foremost technicians and specialists. They provide the most comprehensive range of Yamaha pianos in the UK and are a rare opportunity for pianists to try multiple variations of the same models."
